My Story

I believe public service begins with listening, showing up, and working together.

As the daughter of an immigrant and a proud graduate of public schools, I learned early the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and community. I worked my way through college—cleaning houses, waiting tables, and working as a cashier—and those experiences shaped how I see the world today. I understand firsthand the challenges working families face because I've lived them.

Throughout my life, I've believed that opportunity changes lives. That's why I've dedicated my career to helping people solve problems, build stronger communities, and create opportunities for others.

My Career

Over the past three decades, I've built businesses, coached entrepreneurs, led schools, and taught college students.

As the daughter of an immigrant and a proud public school graduate, I learned early the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and community. I worked my way through college—cleaning houses, waiting tables, and working as a cashier—and those experiences shaped how I see the world today. I understand firsthand the challenges working families face because I've lived them.

Later, I earned a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from Trinity College Dublin and became a Master Certified Career and Small Business Coach, helping entrepreneurs, professionals, and organizations navigate change and build successful futures.

My passion for education led me to become Head of School at an independent Pre-K through Grade 8 school, where I worked closely with students, families, and teachers. Today, I continue supporting education through service on the school's Board of Trustees.

Every chapter of my career has reinforced the same lesson: the best leaders listen carefully, bring people together, and focus on practical solutions.

Community Service

Wolfeboro isn't just where I live—it's my community.

I believe the strongest communities are built by neighbors who volunteer, lend a hand, and invest in one another. That's why I'm proud to serve with organizations that strengthen our region and protect what makes it special.

Today I'm an active member of the Wolfeboro Lions Club, serve on the Wolfeboro Festival of Trees steering committee, and volunteer on the Development Committee of the Wentworth Watershed Association. I'm also active in my faith community and serve on the Board of Directors for the Star Island Corporation.
