The people who work in our communities should be able to afford to live here. Young families should have the opportunity to put down roots, and seniors should be able to remain close to the friends, services, and communities they know.

Yet too many local workers struggle to find housing within reach, young families are priced out, and longtime residents have few options when they are ready to downsize. This affects more than individual households—it makes it harder for schools, healthcare providers, public safety departments, and local businesses to attract and retain the people they need.

I support locally driven efforts to create more housing people can afford while respecting property rights, using existing infrastructure wisely, and keeping important land-use decisions in local hands. There is no single solution for every town. Progress will require listening to residents, working with municipalities and local employers, and finding practical approaches suited to Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro.

My experience in business, education, conflict resolution, and community leadership has prepared me to bring people with different perspectives together, negotiate thoughtfully, and work across the aisle toward balanced solutions.
